只是一齣介紹歷史人物、歷史事件的電視節目, 人家把這個節目放在香港人說的「黃金時段」, 沒有廣告, 四十五分鐘一氣呵成。畫面及製作極盡精緻, 而且主題曲、配樂一絲不苟, 年輕的歌手是為了這個節目而唱的, 作曲及歌詞也是專業之作。一個電視節目反映了彼邦如何看待自己的歷史, 看看我們自己, 李小龍、鄧麗君、錢穆先生、牟宗三先生、以至「九龍皇帝」, 他們一足一跡都跟香港的近代社會密不可分, 寫下的每一頁, 本來都屬於大家的, 只是我們何時曾好好的保存這一頁頁珍貴的片段? 都讓一切隨風飄逝了。
